South Pacific sailing? You want to crew on a yacht and learn to sail in the South Pacific? Sick of backpacking and carry a huge pack? Since July 2000 I have been cruising extensively around the south pacific. I started to take crew to help share the cost’s and for the company. I quickly realised that people loved the experience as much as I do. I would generally meet keen people in bars or on the beach and they would join the boat. Some just wanted a brief experience and were happy to go from one Fijian island to the next and others were still happily hanging out on board 4 months later. We have spent time in Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, the Cook Islands, the Solomons etc. I like to explore out of the way places, and we were the only yacht to have entered the harbour in Nauru! Before I bought Tank Girl I owned a 31ft sloop called Casper that I sailied from Gibraltar, through the Carribean, Panama, The Pacific, Austrailia, and New Zealand. I have sailed a total of approx 75,000 nm in 15 years.
